This traditional Italian-made chitarra, named after the word for "guitar" because of the wires pulled across the wooden frame, is a classic pasta-cutting tool designed to create perfect strands of fresh pasta, from spaghetti to fettuccine. Equipped with stainless steel cutting wires on a wooden frame, it ensures quick, uniform cuts every time. Place rolled-out pasta dough across the wires, and press pasta dough through the wire with a rolling pin. The pasta noodles will fall through wire onto a slanted wooden board under the wires. Separate the noodles and let them rest before cooking.
