History of the Bundt

Though Bundt pans have become a standard item in a baker's pantry today, its start was less prolific when they created this notorious pan in the 1950s. It wasn't until it was used to bake a prize-winning cake in a national baking contest that it began to take the limelight. Cofounder Dave Dalquist's iconic pan has stood the test of time in its original name and traditional design and has made a lasting impression on bakers far and wide for 75 years and counting.
