A baking scale that can measure both volume and weight

Not all measuring cups are created equal. How densely a cup is packed can lead to inconsistencies in your baking results. This digital scale, developed by Escali in conjunction with the King Arthur test bakers, can "reverse measure" hundreds of pre-programmed ingredients: place ingredient on scale, and it shows both weight AND volume measurements. Volume is measured in cups, tablespoons, fluid ounces and milliliters; weight is measured in grams, ounces and lbs:oz. Convenient tare feature easily resets to zero for weighing/measuring ingredients in sequence. Automatic shutoff after 5 minutes helps hold your place if you're interrupted and extends battery life.
